Murderous Waves

Crashing on the sand, deep blue, Swooshing and smashing, the waves. The wind spread pastel colours, All the while the sun set. But the rolling waves harboured a dark secret. The effervescence of the meerschaum, white on the shore, The waves rolled again and again, coming back for more Burying the seashells in the water, deeper than before. The tide slowly withdrew, guided by the Moon. And the murderous waves revealed The corpse of a man, drowned and consumed.
