raven
By Rebecca Hooper
it is a time of long walks of wondering of wandering of falling apart of falling awake i walk and walk until my bones are unearthed until my body unfurls from its burial ground a raven swoops above me leans her head to the side inkwell eye examining the comma of my mind i do not mean to pause here and yet – (undoing unravelling i am sinking my eye into her eye her wing her sky feeling the ache the tug the silk-skinned drug of all this vast delicious wild)
