The unintended consequences of travel
By Caroline Johnstone
The bee waltzes between thorns and branches
balances her velvet self in the vibratory heart
of a wild rose fragrance
makes love to neglected corners
an intimate nuzzling of nectar
her sweet honey the hum and consummation
of beauty, bounty, duty, desire.
