Apricot Press

Hello!

March 2025 marks three years of Apricot Press, and so as we approach the end of the month I just wanted to thank every contributor and reader who has got the press to this point. Your support for Apricot Press really does mean the world. This is a one-woman operation and a true passion project, and I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to publish such beautiful work from so many talented writers.

This third year of running Apricot Press has brought some interesting changes. I’m currently completing an MA Publishing course at York St John University that is giving me so many exciting ideas for how to take the press forward in the future, and it’s really solidifying for me the importance of indie presses and micro presses and the work that everyone within these communities is doing.

In addition, Apricot Press has also recently joined Bluesky! There seems to be a really healthy community of writers and publishers on the platform, and it’s a real delight to be among fellow creatives. The press tentatively remains on X (Twitter) for now, however, it’s become clear that many have left this platform for new pastures, and I look forward to engaging with you all in other spaces.
